ASSA ABLOY INDUSTRIAL (BSI) is a leading supplier of automatic industrial doors and docking systems. We are now looking for an Industrial Technician to join their team in the Gothenburg area – a role for you who has experience in technical work and wants to take on greater responsibility while working with troubleshooting and repairs.

About the role

As an Industrial Technician at ASSA ABLOY INDUSTRIAL, you will take responsibility for troubleshooting and repairs in a real way. You will work with everything from mechanics and hydraulics to electrical and control systems, taking on tasks such as dismantling and upgrading doors and security systems. Your focus will be on quickly and accurately identifying problems and delivering sustainable solutions.

You will plan and execute your tasks independently, but you will be part of a team where collegial support and knowledge sharing is a given. You will document your work and ensure that customers always receive the best possible service.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This is a direct recruitment, which means that we at StudentConsulting handle the recruitment process and that you will be employed directly by ASSA ABLOY INDUSTRIAL. The position is full-time, and working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00. The work is carried out in Gothenburg and surrounding areas, with occasional overnight stays. During the first year, there will be a strong focus on training, which may involve overnight stays in hotels. The position also includes one week of on-call duty approximately every 8-9 weeks.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant experience, such as a service technician, car mechanic, or from other mechanical/electrical/hydraulic service
• Has experience in troubleshooting and can make the right diagnosis
• Has a valid driver's license (B)
• Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
